About Texoma Neurology Associates

Texoma Neurology Associates, PA was started in 1978 by Dr. Sundaram Sr. when he decided to move his family to the Texoma area to be the first Neurologist north of Dallas and South of Oklahoma City.

He started with himself and one other employee and with hard work and patient centered, state of the art neurology services the practice has vastly grown over the last 34 years. Dr. Sundaram, Sr. was trained in Neurology in India and in the UK and became one of the first neurologists in India. He was the former Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Stanley Medical College in Madras, India.

The practice has flourished with the addition of several neurologists over the years to now include a total of eight adult neurologists and one Pediatric neurologist. We also currently have five mid-level providers who offer care under the direct supervision of the neurologists.

We practice both in hospital and office based neurology out of separate locations, three in North Texas and one in Southern Oklahoma. We also actively provide acute care neurology services at Baylor Medical Center of McKinney, Medical Center of McKinney HCA, both in McKinney, as well as Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ in Sherman and Texoma Medical Center in Denison. We also provide consultative services at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, Oklahoma.

Despite our tremendous growth, thanks to our patients, we strive every day to provide exemplary patient centered neurology services with compassion given to each individual person. We realize that having neurological problems can very stressful and people may not know where or who to turn to and what would be the latest and best practices in neurological care.
